Omastin Dry Suspension 50mg/5ml 35ml treats vaginal candidiasis, oropharyngeal & esophageal candidiasis and cryptococcal meningitis. Also, it treats urinary tract infection caused by candida, peritonitis and systemic candida infections.

•  This medicine works by preventing the formation of an enzyme (ergosterol) which is necessary for the synthesis of the fungal cell wall.
• Omastin is also used to treat fungal infection of mouth, throat, and pharynx. It is also used to treat brain and spinal cord infection (cryptococcal meningitis) in AIDS patients.
• Omastin is also used to prevent fungal infection in patients undergoing bone marrow transplantation who receive radiation therapy and chemotherapy.
