Artemether and lumefantrine (Lonart) is a combination medicine that treats malaria in adults and children. The kind of malaria it treats is one that is not severe. It belongs to a class of drugs known as antimalarials. Artemether and lumefantrine is for use in adults and children at least 2 months old or who weigh at least 11 pounds (5 kilograms).
