Strepsils Extra Strength Black Current 24’s is an antiseptic and local anesthetic for sore throat. Therefore, each lozenge contains a local anesthetic for topical use on the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat.
In addition, this product demonstrates Mild antiseptic activity. The product base has a demulcent action.
- This medicine contains only very low levels of gluten (from wheat starch). It is regarded as ‘gluten-free’ and is very unlikely to cause problems if you have coeliac disease.
- This medicine contains fragrance with d-Limonene and Linalool.
- d-Limonene and Linalool may cause allergic reactions.
How to take? Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 3 hours as required. Do not take more than 12 lozenges in 24 hours. Do not exceed the stated dose.
